A total of 44.200 euros were raised by the organizers of the Four Kaštela cafes, and this money was handed over to the Naša dica association on Thursday evening. An exceptionally large amount, ten thousand euros more than was raised the year before, the tournament definitely shows that its humanitarian character is not cosmetic at all. In fact, the amounts raised definitely help charitable organizations, over 40 thousand euros is a huge boost for Naša dica, which deals with children with developmental disabilities.
The guys from the Small Ball Championship, the main co-organizer of the Four Cafes, explained it best: "The first year and the 34500 euros collected for the "Mir" Center in Rudine raised the bar high. At the beginning of this year's edition, they would certainly have signed such an amount, but with the introduction of QR codes and the auction of the jerseys of our legendary Hrvoje Ljubičić Hrce, the bar has been raised a few more scales, and in total, there is as much as 10 thousand euros more in the account of the Naša dica association."
In their social media post, they thanked everyone who helped with this great project, from the hosts to the referees to Hajduk, who broadcast the matches for the whole of Croatia through their digital channel. Finally, they highlighted perhaps the most important thing: "Almost 80 thousand euros in two years is no small thing. It is precious help that makes life easier, more beautiful, and also fundamentally changes the lives of many, and the smiles of children and the gratitude of parents are the greatest possible reward and recognition for the efforts of us as organizers and all of you as valuable participants in this event. We hereby appeal to everyone to remember the date 27.12.2026., free up your schedule and open your hearts to continue this story that we are all proud of, and as long as the players are willing and the audience is interested, this story will only grow and the sky will not be the limit for us."
In short, see you at the end of this year, book a date for the Kaštela tournament. This time, 44.200 euros were raised, is it time for the third edition to break the 50 thousand euro mark?
