The Paris Labor Court on Tuesday ordered Paris Saint-Germain to pay Kylian Mbappé almost 61 million euros in unpaid bonuses and wages from the end of his contract in 2024, it said. HRT.
The ruling came after the footballer sued PSG for not paying him his salary for April, May and June 2024, shortly before he left the club and joined Real Madrid as a free agent.
"We are satisfied with the verdict. This is what could be expected when wages remain unpaid," said Mbappe's lawyer. Frederique Cassereau.
The court found that PSG had failed to pay Mbappe three months' salary, an ethics bonus and a signing bonus that are part of his employment contract.
But the court, composed of two employer representatives and two employee representatives, rejected the request to reclassify his fixed-term contracts into permanent contracts (CDI). PSG's claims, totaling 440 million euros, were rejected in full.
