The last match of the 17th round of the SuperSport HNL between Istria 1961 and Rijeka at the Aldo Drosina Stadium was interrupted in the 22nd minute of the first half due to thick fog that prevented normal playing conditions.
At the break, the score was 1-1. The home team took the lead in the fifth minute after a big mistake by the visiting goalkeeper Zlomislić. Frederiksen shot from distance, Zlomislić reacted badly, which Lawal took advantage of by scoring from close range.
However, just four minutes later, Rijeka equalized. Oreč crossed from the right, and Menalo headed home to make it 1-1.
In the 15th minute, the game was briefly interrupted. The fog became thicker, which led to a change of ball, so play continued with the red ball. However, in the 20th minute, the referee pulled the teams off the field because the playing conditions were becoming more difficult. It was announced that the interruption would last for ten minutes, after which it would be seen whether play could continue. Since there was no progress, referee Ante Čulina interrupted the game. It is not yet known when the game will be played.
