The Kaštela derby to end the calendar year brought a surprisingly easy victory for Ribola over Marina, the formal hosts. Malene defeated their city rivals in three sets, not allowing any tension in any of them.

The derby of the 10th round of the First League was played in the Kaštela 'Sokolana' hall. After a great fight, the guests from Škrljevo celebrated with a score of 69:78, led by the excellent Toni Jelenković, who finished the game with 26 points and 8 rebounds. The most help, at least in terms of points, came from the experienced Fran Pilepić with 17 points.

In the 9th round of the Superliga OK Ribola Kaštela beat IOC Dinamo 3:2 (25:21, 23:25, 20:25, 25:21, 15:10) on their field in Kaštel Star after 132 minutes of clean play. 

OK Ribola Kaštela will end the first part of the season with a derby of the 9th round of the Super League against MOK Dinamo in the hall in Kaštel Stari. Ribola is third in the championship table, and Dinamo is fourth, both teams have 10 points with a ratio of 5 wins and three losses. Dinamo, as a new Super League member, started with 5 wins in a row against Rovinj, Marsonia, Centrometal, Sisak and Varaždin, and then there were consecutive defeats against Mladost, Mursa and Rijeka, and last Saturday in the Ribola Cup.

Just before the volleyball season, the balls decided in the draw that the last round of the autumn part of the championship will be a party in Kaštela. The Derby della Kaštela, Marina vs. Ribola, is scheduled for tomorrow evening in Stari, a great and spectacular end to the calendar year for volleyball in Kaštela.

In the last round of the autumn season, Ribola's handball players will host Rijeka's Kozala at Sokolana tomorrow at 6:30 PM, an extremely dangerous opponent who at times shows ambition to join the fight for the top.

FISHING KAŠTELA - DEPOLINK ŠKRLJEVO (Saturday 15:30 PM)

On Saturday, starting at 15:30 PM, a big first league derby will begin on the floor of the 'Sokolana' Sports Hall in Kaštel Sućurac, in which the current leading team in the championship, Ribola Kaštela, and the team that was declared the first favorite of this competition before this season, DepoLink Škrljevo, will face off.

The National Judo Championship for Primary Schools was held at the Marino Cvetković Sports Hall in Opatija on 9 and 10 December, under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports. Juniors of OK Ribola Kaštela won the title of Dalmatian Champion without losing a set and qualified for the Croatian Junior Championship. At the South Region tournament held this Sunday, December 7th at the Višnjik Sports Center in Zadar, they defeated teams from both Split and Zadar 3:0.

FIRST LEAGUE - Round 9: Excellent game and victory for Ribola Kaštela

The basketball players of Ribola Kaštela achieved their eighth championship victory, and thanks to Škrljevo's defeat away to Mladost, they once again remained alone at the top as the only team in the First League with one defeat. 

Ribola advanced to the semifinals of the SuperSport Cup of the Republic of Croatia “Snježana Ušić”. In the quarterfinals, the team from Kaštela played away to OK Olimpik in Zagreb and recorded a convincing 0:3 victory, in sets of 19:25, 20:25 and 17:25, thus securing a place among the top four teams in the Cup.
