Tomislav Zovko is a visual artist who lives and works in Široki Brijeg. He graduated from the Fra Dominik Mandić Secondary School in 2005, and in 2012 he received his master's degree in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Široki Brijeg in the class of Professor Ante Kajinić. He has participated in about thirty art colonies and symposia and has exhibited in more than a hundred group exhibitions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad. So far, he has organized eighteen solo exhibitions, among which the cycles of Global siliconization, Transgressus i SiliconologyHe is the author of the artistic solutions for six HP Mostar postage stamps.

The amateur drama section of the KUU Mosor from Gat performed the winning play "The Frog" at the Cultural Center in Lukšić on Friday as part of the 13th Days of the Kaštela Theater. This is the play of the KKU Mosor from the county amateur theater competition, with which it participated in the state competition in Vodice, where actor Filip Oćasić won the award for the best male role in Croatia for the role of Zeka. In addition to him, three other actors are judging the role of Toni: Zoran Radostić, Grga Božidar Borovac and Filipa Blaženko Bonomi. The author of the play is Dubravko Mihaljević, while the director is Biljana Borovac, who also won the award for best direction at the state competition.

Kaštela artist Sunčica Kuzmanić Perišin Tomljanović will hold an exhibition titled "Herd" at the Knin Photo Club from December 6 to 26. On December 6, Sunčica will lead a full-day workshop as part of her current art project. The results of her work - as well as the works created during the workshop so far - will be on display from 19 p.m.

The Kaštela City Museum and the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy of the University of Split invite you to the presentation of the book by Dr. Katja Marasović ""KAŠTELA CASTLE" which will be held on December 12th at 19 pm at the Cultural Center in Kaštel Lukšić.

The Kaštela City Library is organizing an expert conference on Tuesday, November 25th, from 9 am to 14 pm, at the Archbishop's Castle in Kaštel Sućurac. Heritage institutions as treasure caves: the role of local collections in cultural tourism..

The exhibition "Kaštela at the Turn of the Century - the Story of Pave Ergovec" will open at the Kaštela City Museum, in the Vitturi Castle, on Thursday, November 20th at 19 pm, organized by the Kaštela City Museum. The authors of the exhibition are curators Anamarija Bralić and Iva Prolić.

About 2,000 people have passed through the Cultural Center in the past 25 years.
It is an understatement to say that the Kaštela Cultural Center was filled with euphoria and happiness last night, which the members of the Ante Zaninović Cultural and Artistic Association, from the youngest to the oldest, selflessly shared with the large audience on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of their work and activities, under the baton of Tonćo Tada, artistic director and choreographer. Cultural and artistic community "Ante Zaninović" and Marica Tadin, president of the KUD.

Organized by the Kaštela City Library, the book "When My Sister and I Were Children" by Anita Batinić was presented at the Archbishop's Castle in Kaštel Sućurac, a collection of touching stories that takes readers back to their childhood in the 1980s — a time without cell phones, when children played in front of the house all day, and life flowed more slowly and simply.

The second Open Days of the Kaštela Cultural Center will start on Wednesday, September 24th at the Cultural Center in Kaštel Lukšić. This is an event that will last a month and a half and will include numerous performances by both professional and amateur theaters, cinema screenings, stand-up comedy, theater performances for children, concerts and dance programs. Admission to the vast majority of events will be free, while those that do charge are subsidized by the City, which will make the prices significantly lower than the usual commercial ones.

More than two months of rich cultural and entertainment program were brought to an end last night by Amira Medunjanin. One of the most prominent interpreters of sevdah, she took the audience at the Igrišće in Kaštel Štafilić on an unforgettable musical journey full of emotions, tradition and artistic expression.

An event was held at the premises of the Multifunctional Center of Fr. Ante Konstatin Matas in Lećevica, with singing, dancing and refreshments, as part of a project to implement educational, cultural and sports activities for preschool children and children from 1st to 4th grade of elementary school, co-financed by the Ministry of Demography and Immigration.

As part of the celebration of the Croatian Statehood Day, the Podvorje a cappella group held its first performance in Rabat, Morocco, on May 30. This event, organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, was held at the residence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the Kingdom of Morocco, Jasna Mileta.

The Parish of St. Michael the Archangel Kaštel Kambelovc is organizing a festival of Marian and spiritual music called "O Mary, Mother" this year, which will be held on Saturday, May 24th at 19 p.m. in the parish church. The festival is organized by the Church Singers of Kaštel Kambelovac together with the Parish of St. Michael the Archangel, and eight other klapa groups will perform alongside the hosts. Among them are renowned names who have performed at numerous klapa festivals.

Applications are open for the Fifth Regional Exhibition of Choirs and Classical Small Vocal Ensembles Canta Dalmatia which will be held on May 24, 2025 in Kaštel Vitturi in Kaštel Lukšić, organized by the Croatian Singing Society "Bijaćka vila" - Kaštela.

A new book by Josip Budiša entitled "Along the Curves of Life" has just been published. In this novella, the author's intention was to recount their, and thus his own, winding life path from childhood to the 1970s, based on the testimonies of two of his friends, who are also the main characters of the story "Along the Curves of Life".

The Kaštela City Museum invites you to the opening of the permanent exhibition "Let's Go to the Cinema" and screenings of short animated films by young Croatian authors - Bruna Ercegovac, Dora Klanac, Andrea Miletić, Sara Tomas and Morana Marija Vulić on Friday, October 18th at 19 pm at the Cultural Center in Kaštel Lukšić.

As part of a project by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, the Podvorje a capella group from Sućurac visited the Republic of Korea from October 3 to 10, where they presented original a capella singing, which is protected by UNESCO as part of the world's intangible cultural heritage.

The award ceremony for the participants of the Kaštela City Library Summer Literary Challenge competition - read books and win a prize will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd, starting at 7:00 PM at the Archbishop's Castle in Kaštel Sućurac.
