Today, September 26th from 15 p.m. and during the upcoming weekend, September 27th and 28th, police officers will conduct the OA "Risk Factors" with a special emphasis on sanctioning the most serious traffic violations and repeat traffic violations.
Gross violations of speed limit regulations while driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to use safety features such as seat belts on all seats and protective helmets on motorcycles, and distractions in road traffic (distraction from the traffic situation, e.g., use of a mobile phone by a driver or pedestrian) result in the most serious road traffic injuries.
We further urge all road users to be cautious and comply with traffic regulations, so as not to endanger their own lives or the lives of other road users through their irresponsible behavior.
They especially appeal to all drivers that their behavior does not further endanger the riskiest groups in road traffic - moped and motorcycle drivers, pedestrians and bicycle drivers.
