The Split-Dalmatia Police Department warns citizens about the frequent occurrence of various forms of fraud in which perpetrators use different methods, but their goal is always the same - to mislead citizens, obtain their personal and financial data, and thus achieve illegal financial gain.
A case has been recorded in which perpetrators offer jobs via online platforms with the promise of quick and secure earnings. When a man interested in the job provided his personal and bank account details, he realized that several thousand euros had been deducted from his account. In another case, a citizen tried to buy a vignette online, and after entering his personal and account details, he was also left without money.
