A large ship ran aground on Matejuška last night. It flew at high speed and crashed onto the pier. Fortunately, no one was injured, and the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure says that the Port Authority received a report from the maritime police about the incident in the Split city port at around 1.25 am.
- The boat hit the shore, causing it to become stranded on the waterfront. It was determined on the ground that the boat was being operated by a person who had all the necessary authorizations to operate the vessel. It is important to emphasize that no one was injured during the collision, nor was there any pollution of the sea - the ministry said.
They add that the boat owner will be served with an order to remove the boat, after reporting the maritime accident to the Port Authority.
