
On the occasion of the Marko Perković Thompson Concert, which will take place tonight in Sinj at the hippodrome, the police department has issued new instructions that you can follow minute by minute here, as well as the atmosphere ahead of the concert.
- 21.25 hours - Sinj is ready, but Thompson is late. The concert hasn't started yet.
- 21.20 hours - At this moment, it is no longer possible to enter Sinj by vehicle. The restriction does not ONLY apply to tenants.
- 21.12 hours - POLICE: We advise visitors to they are heading towards ENTRANCE number 3 which has a lower visitor intensity. Entrance 3 is the one closest to the airport. At the moment There are no more parking spaces in the Sinj area., we urge drivers not to go towards Sinj anymore.
- 20.50 hours - At this point, a total of 6 people have been detained since the start of the public gathering. Police officers arrested five people in the afternoon in connection with singing inappropriate songs, making inappropriate noises, and inciting others to behave in such a way.
- Four men were spotted in front of a restaurant on Glavičina Street who did not stop their illegal behavior even after being warned. They were arrested. Another man was later arrested at the same location for identical illegal behavior - the police said.
Also, last night at around 23 pm in the center of Sinj, police officers on the ground determined that a female person from a catering facility was playing songs of inappropriate content. A criminal investigation is being conducted against all of these individuals.
The police once again note that police officers are recording public gatherings in accordance with the Law on Police Affairs and Powers, and a criminal investigation will be conducted for any illegal behavior found.
Up to this moment, about 189 pieces of various pyrotechnic devices have been confiscated from 55 people, and two men were brought in for violating the no-fly zone.
- 8:20 p.m. - Thompson's concert in Sinj is coming soon, and less than an hour before it, Sinj Mayor Miro Bulj posted a video on Facebook showing what the stage looks like where Marko Perković Thompson will sing in front of more than 150.000 people at 21 p.m.
- 19.45 hours - Rivers of people are still flowing towards the Hippodrome.
- 19.20 hours - POLICE: We appeal to drivers driving towards Sinj and going to a public gathering to drive on local roads exclusively towards the airport because that is the only place where there are still free parking spaces.
- 18.55 hours - At this moment, there are only free parking spaces in the Sinj area at the airport, which is why the police are advising drivers to drive towards the Sinj Airport Picket. The recommended route is from Otok and Turjak via local roads towards the hippodrome.

- 18.50 hours - Police have issued a new statement:
- At this moment, there are still a large number of free parking spaces in the airport area near the hippodrome, which is why we are advising drivers to head towards Otok, and then towards the airport (hippodrome). According to the latest information from the field, a large number of drivers are stopping and leaving their vehicles several kilometers away from the public gathering place. Given that there are still plenty of spaces at the airport, we are advising them to come to the airport and park their vehicles there and head towards the public gathering place. We would like to point out that the entrances have been open since 16 p.m. and that visitors to the concert are currently being admitted - the police announced.
- 18.15 hours - Final preparations for a big concert are underway at the Sinj Hippodrome. The event's organizer, Mirko Gudelj, confirmed that everything is ready and safe for the arrival of 150 visitors.
- 17.55 hours - Cars are pouring into the center, cafes are full, and the first soundchecks are already coming from the main square in Sinj.
- 17.30 hours - The police once again appeal to drivers currently driving towards the hippodrome to use local roads towards Otok, especially given that there are still plenty of free parking spaces at the airport next to the concert venue.

- 17.25 hours - Everything is ready, the audience is on its feet – the countdown to the musical climax has begun.
- 17 hours - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Davor Božinović said that all services engaged for tonight's concert in Sinj are working "according to plan", and he called on citizens to be patient with regard to the infrastructure and the crowds that will arise.
- 16.45 hours - The police have released current information regarding tonight's concert. They are appealing to visitors to head towards the hippodrome. The entrances are open from 16 pm and in order to avoid crowds and enter the public gathering area on time, it is time to head towards the hippodrome.
- In order to create greater accessibility for citizens, a temporary police station will be established in the premises of the Junak City Stadium, at Put Šumarije 16.
There will be emergency services teams at ten locations on the racecourse, and the ambulance will be accompanied by a medical team, Red Cross, civil protection and police officers, and there will be five more emergency medical teams in the area of the City of Sinj. Citizens will be able to seek medical assistance at two infirmaries located in the Health Center (address Pelimovac 11) and at the racecourse itself by the SOUTH entrance, entrance number 3.
One person has been detained for violating the flight ban that is in effect today in the entire Sinj area and a criminal investigation is underway, the police announced.
- 16.30 hours - Croatian flags are flying in the streets of Sinj and the Pjaca, which are packed with people singing patriotic songs. From the Pjaca, people slowly head towards the Sinj Hippodrome, which is open from 16 p.m. More and more visitors are arriving by the minute, and the parking lot is slowly filling up, as we can see in the picture below.

- 16.10 hours - The police inform visitors that there are still enough free parking spaces at the airport and that they can leave their vehicles at the specified location without any problems. Here is the current situation on the ground.
- 15.50 hours - Thompson's fans come to Sinj from all parts of Croatia, but also from abroad: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, and even from faraway Australia.
- 4:15 p.m. - An army of people is pouring into Sinj ahead of tonight's concert. Thompson's songs are being sung throughout the city.
- 14.50 hours -Three entrances with 150 passages open at 16 pm, head towards the hippodrome and to the entrances early to avoid crowds and enter the concert venue on time. We expect a greater intensity of visitors at the entrances and bigger crowds after 18 pm - the police stated.
- 14.30 hours - The police have published photographs showing the situation in the areas intended for parking vehicles of concert visitors at the Hippodrome, which show that, for now, only a small part is filled, but it is filling up more and more by the minute.
They remind that it is prohibited to bring the following into the public assembly area:
- symbols, inscriptions or features that promote hatred, intolerance, racism or extremist ideologies,
- folding chairs, umbrellas, bags or backpacks (only waist bags will be allowed),
- pyrotechnics of any kind
- flagpoles
- weapons, sharp and potentially dangerous objects,
- drugs and other psychedelic substances,
- glass bottles, cans and any liquids, except water in plastic bottles
- anything that may endanger other visitors or compromise the safety of the event
Vehicle parking
After all parking spaces are filled, in order to ensure the flow of traffic on the streets, drivers of personal vehicles will not be able to enter the City of Sinj.
- Do not leave or park vehicles in places that prevent normal traffic for other vehicles, as they will be removed - the police say.
