The Director of KBC Split, Prof. Dr. Sc. Krešimir Dolić, met with the Mayor of Solin, Dalibor Ninčević, and representatives of the company Promet doo from Split.
This is one of a series of meetings that the Management of the Split Clinical Hospital Center regularly holds to agree on a better organization of bus lines that pass through both locations - Firule and Križine. The goal is that, by increasing the number of lines, a larger number of patients who visit the Split hospital every day will use public city transport. This would reduce the number of cars that enter the hospital grounds and create an extremely heavy traffic load.
It was previously agreed to increase the number of bus lines operating in the city of Split. Thus, since this summer, Promet has introduced 76 new bus routes through the hospital. In total, there are 279 bus routes through Firule and Križine on weekdays. A larger number of bus lines is also a prerequisite for arranging parking in front of both locations of the Split Clinical Hospital.
At the meeting in Solin, it was agreed that from September 1, 2025, the traffic regime of bus line no. 1 will change, and bus line no. 16, which departs from Solin, will start running via KBC Split and Kamups.
