In the past seven days, police officers from the Split Maritime Police Station have sanctioned a total of 47 different violations during the supervision and control of maritime traffic, of which 34 are related to safety at sea.
Out of the total number of sanctioned violations, nine people were punished for driving a vessel at a distance of less than 300 meters from the coast, which endangers the safety of people. The perpetrators of this maritime offense were sanctioned with fines in the amount of 400 euros.
Furthermore, five people were fined for anchoring in an illegal place, as well as for transshipment, not having documentation and an insurance policy.
