ALL INFORMATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS IMPORTANT FOR CITIZENS WILL BE PUBLISHED ON PU SD WEBSITES
The Split-Dalmatia Police Department, with the support of the Police Directorate, has begun intensive preparations related to securing the concert that will be held on August 4, 2025 at the Sinj Hippodrome. Also, working meetings have been held so far with the organizer, representatives of the city of Sinj, and emergency services.
Today, at the Split-Dalmatia Police Department, the Chief of Police Nikola Milina, accompanied by Deputy Damir Barić and Commander of the Intervention Command Vedran Augustinović, held a meeting with the Chief of the Split-Dalmatia Police Department Marko Srdarević on the topic of planned concert security measures and the support of the Police Directorate. After the meeting, they toured the concert venue, accompanied by the Chief of the Sinj Police Department Petra Tomašević.
The Split-Dalmatia Police Department will soon issue a detailed plan for implementing security measures, which will include all measures and actions that the police plan to take, the method of implementation, as well as the number of police officers who will be deployed. In addition to implementing the planned measures and actions, police officers will be particularly focused on traffic, i.e. the flow of vehicles and people the day before and on the day of the concert.
Taking into account that the traditional Alka festival will be held in Sinj on the weekend preceding the concert, which will attract a large number of guests and invitees, the Split-Dalmatia Police Department is facing a period of intense events in the Sinj area, which will certainly increase the intensity of people and vehicles in the Sinj area.
They would emphasize the importance of partnership and support from the media, so that all information reaches citizens.
- We will publish all information and recommendations of importance to citizens on the website of the Split-Dalmatia Police Department, so we invite you to support us by sharing them through your media posts - they said.
