After Marko Perković Thompson's concert at the Zagreb Hippodrome, which gathered more than half a million people on Saturday, the organizers thanked everyone on Sunday for their support, cooperation and dignified behavior and asked the authorities to urgently clean and renovate the space.
"Thank you to all the fans – for your patience, togetherness, and the atmosphere that exceeded all expectations. Your behavior and mutual respect showed the power of togetherness and love for music in the most beautiful way possible," the post reads.
The organizers also thanked all the services that participated in the organization and implementation of this demanding event, specifically the police, ambulance, firefighters, security and technical services, and volunteers.
"Your professionalism, dedication and willingness made it possible for everything to go smoothly," they added.
In the end, they sent a request and a reminder to the service of maintaining urban greenery and implementing the landscape design project to, in accordance with the contractual obligations, approach the cleaning and rehabilitation of the Hippodrome and Bundek areas as quickly as possible.
"We are confident in your efficiency and look forward to continued cooperation in the interest of preserving the natural and public spaces of the City of Zagreb," they concluded.
