In the area of Pisak and Marušić, east of Omiš, a fire broke out on Saturday morning and is spreading towards houses, and in addition to several fire departments, locals are also involved in extinguishing the fire, the Split County Fire Operations Center reported.
"The fire broke out just before seven o'clock, in some places the fire is spreading towards houses and locals are also participating in extinguishing it," the fire department told Hina.
Canadian firefighters have been called in to help put out this fire, and their involvement is expected, they said in the Omiš Fire Department.
