
On Tuesday morning, police arrested two people they believe are connected to the murder of a man and a woman four days ago on Črna voda Street in Zagreb's Markuševac, and the Ministry of Defence has now confirmed that one of the arrested is a member of the Croatian Armed Forces, it writes. N1.

"One of the two arrested persons in connection with the commission of the criminal offense of murder committed on June 13, 2025, on Črna voda Street in Zagreb, as reported by the Zagreb Police Department, is a member of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia, currently assigned to the Honor Guard Battalion.
Namely, today, June 17, 2025, in the morning hours in the Zagreb area, police officers of the Zagreb Police Department arrested two people who are linked to the commission of the criminal offense of murder committed on June 13, 2025, on Črna voda Street in Zagreb.
The criminal investigation conducted by police officers of the Zagreb Police Department also includes the military police, since the case involves an arrested military person."
