On Friday, April 4, 2025, the County Technology Hub Digital Dalmatia will host the largest student pub quiz ever - in a completely digital edition. The quiz, which will be held simultaneously in the amphitheaters of several Split faculties and the Digital Dalmatia technology hub, will bring together more than 150 student teams and represent a combination of knowledge, technology and team spirit, writes Digital Dalmatia.
A knowledge quiz that brings together faculty and students
This is a general knowledge quiz, designed to encourage teamwork and tactical thinking. Each team can have from two to four members, and participation is completely free. The dynamic and fun atmosphere will be provided by quiz host Dean Kotiga, known for his charisma and love of knowledge.
Organizers from the academic community with the support of Digital Dalmatia
The organizers of the quiz are the Faculty of Science, FESB, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Law in Split, in cooperation with Digital Dalmatia, which also acts as a co-organizer.
Digital Dalmatia continuously provides support to young people, innovative initiatives and technological, startup projects. Through various activities and accelerator programs, such as GROWit, it actively connects the academic community with entrepreneurship and the technology sector, creating fertile ground for cooperation, development and innovation.
ScanEat and the technological solution that is changing the quiz scene
The quiz is given added value by the team from the Split-based startup ScanEat, which is behind the technical solution for conducting the quiz. This team of young innovators, who are part of the GROWit accelerator, are developing several digital products in parallel, including a platform that enables completely digital conduct of pub quizzes - without paper, pencils and manual counting of points. Their solution enables fast, simple and modern organization of quizzes via mobile devices, which further enhances the innovation and professionalism of this event.
More than a game!
The new quiz is not only an opportunity to have fun and test knowledge, but also to connect students of different orientations, strengthen the relationship between academic institutions and the local technology community.
