
A one-time cash payment to beneficiaries of child allowance to mitigate the consequences of rising energy prices will be paid on Friday, February 24, in the total amount of 142.146,25 euros, the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute reported.
The cash benefit (JNP) will be paid to beneficiaries of child benefit received in the Republic of Croatia, for whom the procedures for exercising the right to the benefit were ongoing, and their right to the payment of child benefit was recognized until 31 December 2022.
The one-time cash payment ranges from 39,82 euros (300,00 kn) to 146,00 euros (1.100,00 kn)
A total of 3.037 beneficiaries for 4.312 children will receive it, for which a total of 142.146,25 euros have been allocated in the State Budget of the Republic of Croatia.
This payment of 142.146,25 euros includes the difference (in the amount of 25.425,71 euros) in the one-time cash benefit for newborn children for 909 beneficiaries of child benefit, according to the HMZO.
In accordance with the decisions of the Government of the Republic of Croatia of September 8 and December 22, 2022, a one-time cash benefit has been paid to 125.114 beneficiaries for a total of 242.712 children, in the total amount of EUR 16.117.048,14, the statement states.
