From May 1st, the price will be 4 euros per hour, and each subsequent hour will be 5 euros.
Split Parking announced that new parking prices will be in effect at the off-street parking lot in Split, Zrinsko-Frankopanska, or Stari plac, from January 8, 2026. This brings the new hourly parking price to the same level as those already in effect at the parking lots on the Riva and Sv. Frani. This is a major blow to drivers who will pay double for an hour of parking, instead of the previous 1 euro, they will pay 2 euros, and for each subsequent hour an additional 3 euros, and this is valid until April. And then from May, parking will be even more expensive, with two hours costing as much as 9 euros.
- According to the new price list, in the winter period (1.10. – 30.4.) the first hour will be 2 EUR, while each subsequent hour will be 3 EUR. In the summer tariff (1.5. – 30.9.) the parking hour will be 4 EUR for the first hour and 5 EUR for each subsequent hour. Parking prices in Svačićeva, about a hundred meters away, remain the same and do not change - Split Parking states and adds the reasons for the price increase.
- This is part of the new traffic organization in Split implemented by the City of Split with city companies and measures aimed at reducing congestion in the city center and encouraging citizens and visitors to use public transportation as often as possible when arriving in the city center, Split Parking said.
