An extradition was carried out in San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica, on Thursday, October 16, 2025. 50-year-old Croatian citizen competent judicial bodies of the Republic of Croatia.
Namely, a man was arrested in Costa Rica based on an Interpol international arrest warrant issued by order of the Zagreb County Court, for the purpose of serving a 13-year prison sentence for committing a criminal offense as part of a criminal association that was involved in drug smuggling.

Upon arrival at Zagreb Airport on Wednesday, October 17, the man was escorted by ATJ Lučko and transferred to the prison in Zagreb.
