After a very unstable Wednesday, in which large parts of Dalmatia were hit by heavy, even extreme, precipitation, the weather conditions calmed down significantly on Thursday, especially in the second part of the day.
However, there were still occasional instabilities, mainly in the south of the country. It was there that several leeches appeared, and probably the most fascinating one was the one that appeared on the sea in front of Dubrovnik right at sunset.
The rest of the week will bring plenty of sunshine and warmth, but Sunday will be a bit more unstable again. However, the scenario from the previous days, when there was also heavy rain, will not be repeated, it writes Dalmacija danas.
Today will be mostly clear. There will be a light daily wind or it will be quiet. Minimum morning air temperatures from 8 to 14°C in the Dalmatian hinterland, from 16 to 20°C along the coast and on the islands. Maximum daily temperatures from 22 to 27°C.
Similar weather conditions await us on Saturday. Most of the day will be sunny. However, in the evening there may be a few drops of rain. Wind still weak, daytime. Air temperatures without major changes, from 22 to 27°C in the hottest part of the day.

On Sunday variable with alternating sunny and cloudy periods. Occasional and local rain or occasional showers with thunder. However, significant amounts of precipitation are not expected. Mostly dry weather in northern Dalmatia. Moderate to strong bora will blow at the foot of Velebit, weak bora will spread to most of the coast by the evening. Daily temperatures will slightly drop.
Take advantage of the warm days because according to current forecast materials, there is an increased possibility of a more pronounced cold snap next week. It won't start at the beginning of the week yet, so it will on Monday and Tuesday There will still be plenty of sunshine, and daytime temperatures will be around 25°C.
It seems that the change of weather will arrive. on Wednesday when the bora will strengthen with the influx of a significantly colder air mass from the continent. If such a scenario comes true, it will gradually get colder from Wednesday, especially in the night and morning hours.
First frost possible on the continent
That this is not just any kind of cooling is evidenced by the fact that nighttime temperatures even on the Adriatic could be in single digits in places, that the first frost is possible in parts of the interior in the second half of the week, and that the first snow is possible in the higher mountains. October, therefore, shows an almost student-like face from the very beginning...
