Members of the Putalj Cultural and Artistic Society have been in the Czech Republic for the past few days as part of the international DIGI project, which brings together partners from Croatia, Latvia and the Czech Republic. The project is aimed at developing modern approaches to music education, especially with the use of digital tools, and at strengthening cultural cooperation and exchange between partner countries.
During their stay in the Czech Republic, members of the Putalj Cultural and Artistic Association participated in workshops and musical activities together with the hosts and other project participants. The opportunity to present their own musical and cultural heritage and learn about Czech traditions further enriched the collaboration and confirmed the importance of music as a universal language that connects people and communities.
The DIGI project was designed to bring music education closer to children and young people in an innovative way, but also to contribute to a better understanding and acceptance of different cultures. Cooperation with partners from the Czech Republic and Latvia has shown how international projects can contribute not only to education, but also to the preservation of cultural identity and the creation of lasting friendships.
At the end of the month, Czech and Latvian partners will stay in Kaštela, where joint activities will continue through workshops, meetings and programs in which the hosts will ensure that guests learn about the richness of Kaštela and Croatian traditions.
The DIGI project is financed by European funds and represents a valuable contribution to the modernization of music education and international cultural cooperation.
