Kaštel Stari is once again becoming a center of sea adventures and good fun this fall. PŠK Srdela is organizing the traditional Lignjolov, a two-day event that will be held on October 3rd and 4th at the port in Kaštel Stari. The program brings a series of events, rich prizes and a humanitarian note because all proceeds from the lottery go to the Naša dica association.
The first day, Friday, October 3, is reserved for children's squid fishing. The youngest, aged 10 to 15, will compete from 16:30 p.m. to 19 p.m. In addition, there will be a brudet cooking competition, and all visitors will be able to enjoy grilled sardines. The atmosphere will be further enhanced by the Partenca a capella group, while the evening is scheduled for the announcement of the best in the children's competition.
The main squid fishing competition will take place on Saturday, October 4th. The gathering will take place at the port of Kaštel Stari from 15 pm, and the boats will set sail at 16:30 pm. The return is scheduled for 21 pm, after which the best teams will be announced. The rules are clear - a maximum of three people can be on one boat. In addition, there will be a charity lottery draw.
The organizers emphasize that they have prepared rich prizes, and are especially pleased by the fact that the proceeds from the lottery will be directed to helping children and young people through the association Our Children.
Lottery ticket sales and squid fishing applications are accepted daily from September 28th to October 3rd, from 18 pm to 20 pm, at the premises of the PŠK "Srdela". All additional information can be obtained from the society's secretary Ivna at 095 562 9130.
