The Kaštela Kindergarten has invited parents of preschool children who are not included in the regular preschool education program to enroll their children in the preschool program that will be implemented at the Kaštela Kindergarten from September 15th to 19th.
The preschool program (so-called small school) is mandatory for all children who are not included in the regular preschool education program in the year before starting primary school, and who were born from April 01, 2019 to March 31, 2020 (i.e. who will turn six by March 31, 2026).
Enrollments are made by phone.
Registrations can be made by phone at 091 225 4803 from September 15 to 19, 2025, every working day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Parents are asked to prepare the following information when registering for enrollment by phone: the child's first and last name, date of birth, child's OIB (Personal Identification Number), first and last name of the mother and father/guardian, address of residence and contact number of the mother and father/guardian.
The preschool program is mandatory and free of charge and will be implemented from October 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026 in the afternoon from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The following documentation must be attached to the Application for Enrollment:
- questionnaire for enrollment in the preschool program;
- a copy of the birth certificate or the child's birth certificate (regardless of the date of issue of the document);
- a certificate from a competent doctor confirming that a systematic health examination of a preschool child has been performed before enrolling in kindergarten (verification of proper vaccinations, issued by the child's pediatrician);
- a copy of the opinion of the first-instance expert assessment body (CZSS) or the appropriate medical and other findings, opinions and decisions of competent bodies, institutions and experts on the existence of a developmental disability;
- a court decision as proof of sole parental care or a death certificate of the spouse if they previously had joint parental care.
Parent meeting, September 25th
A parent meeting for parents of children attending the Preschool Program will be held on September 25th at 17 pm at the "Maslina" Kindergarten at Put sv. Lucije 38, 21217 Kaštel Štafilić.
Parents are required to bring a completed Application for Enrollment of Children in the Preschool Program to the aforementioned meeting along with the required documentation.
The location of the preschool program will depend on the available capacities of the "Kaštela" Kindergarten and the number of people interested in the preschool program.
