On Sunday afternoon, firefighters received a report of an open space fire in the Radošić area. A total of about 6.5 hectares of grass and low vegetation burned. Firefighters from the Zagora, Kaštela, Gomilica and Mladost Fire Departments, a total of 23 of them with six vehicles, participated in extinguishing the fire.
The first report of the fire arrived at 5:52 p.m., while just eight minutes later, another fire was reported. There were two different fires in the immediate vicinity.
The first fire was localized at 7:30 p.m., and was completely extinguished at 7:45 p.m., burning three hectares of grass and low vegetation.
The second fire was localized at 7:50 p.m. and burned an area of 3.5 hectares of grass and low vegetation. It was extinguished at 8:30 p.m.
