Evening of the castle's glends and batudis This year, the Kaštela City Library is organizing this event as part of the Kaštela Cultural Summer on Thursday, September 4th at 20 pm in Gospojska štada in Kaštel Sućurac.
In the first part of the evening, the GKK Drama Group, led by Marijana Jerkunica, will perform a humorous play. Once upon a time, now it was mentioned according to the text of Renata Dobrić, while in the second part of the evening visitors will be able to hear Kaštela glenda and batuda from the oldest 'time' (shorter and longer humorous true anecdotes from the lives of our ancestors) told by Ivica Žegarac Žuti and Renata Dobrić.
Marijan Grbavac from the Proložac Drama Association and Josip Škiljo, a stand-up comedian from Splickascene, will perform as guests.
This humorous and nostalgic evening in Kaštela will be completed with performances of older musical hits by Nedo Kovačev, Miroslav Miše and Radenko Lovre Jokić, who will take us back to the "old times" with their songs.
Screenwriter, director and presenter Evenings of the castle's glends and batudis which this year is titled Once upon a time, now it was mentioned is Renata Dobric.
- Come and remember how people lived in Kaštila in the old days, with hard work and sweat, joy and sorrow, laughter and tears, with glende and batuda, say the organizers.
