On the occasion of the 84th anniversary of the founding of the First Kaštela Partisan Detachment, members of the ABA Association of the City of Kaštela laid flowers at the monument on Knježak and also paid tribute to the brave women of Kaštela who collected aid and organized the famous caravans across Kozjak.
A monument to them was erected long ago at the place where they set out to fight for freedom on August 11, 1941. As every year, members of the ABA City of Kaštela association laid flowers at the monument to the First Kaštela Partisan Detachment as a sign of remembrance and gratitude.
The President of the ABA Association of the City of Kaštela, Željko Ađutantov, laid a wreath and spoke a few words of appreciation.
- They stood up for freedom, they stood up against obsession, they stood up for each other, they stood up for us. May they be eternally glorified and praised - said Adjutantov.

The members of the ABA Association of the City of Kaštela do not forget their sacrifice and courage.
