In Sućurac on Cesta pape Ivana Pavla II. police officers stopped a car driven by a 27-year-old man on Tuesday, August 5, shortly before 20 p.m. A check of official records revealed that the driver's driving license was revoked and confiscated in 2021 by a decision of the Sinj Police Station due to accumulated negative misdemeanor points, and after the two-year period expired, the person did not retake the driving test or acquire the right to drive.
The driver was arrested and brought to the competent court in Split. Due to the real possibility that he will repeat the offense again, as he has already been sentenced with a final decision, the court was proposed to order the 27-year-old to be detained, sentenced to 30 days in prison and a protective measure of a ban on driving category B motor vehicles for 24 months. The court ordered a seven-day detention in prison, and the verdict will be issued at a later date.
