Adulticidal mosquito disinfestation works will be carried out in the area of the town of Kaštela on Thursday, August 7. These works will be carried out using the ground-based ULV method, starting at 1 a.m. If adverse weather conditions occur, such as rain or wind, the works will be postponed, Ciano announced.
Citizens are advised to close doors and windows during fogging, especially those with respiratory health problems. Drivers are warned to be extra careful in traffic, as the vehicle carrying out the disinfestation will be moving at low speed and will be marked with a rotating light. Beekeepers are also warned to keep bees in their hives until the last remnants of the insecticide fog have dissipated.
