Folklore concert in organization Cultural and artistic society "Ante Zaninović", will be held on Brčko in Kaštel Kambelovac, on August 3rd starting at 20.30 p.m.
This music and dance evening entitled "Under the bridge" will bring together all generations of performers – from the youngest to veterans – who will take the audience through the richness of Croatian folk heritage. Diverse folk costumes, original songs, colorful dances and traditional instruments from various regions of Croatia will shine on stage.
The guests of the evening will be KUU "Kristal" from Županja –tambura band, vocal group and dance ensemble, which will further enrich the program and contribute to the festive atmosphere with its performances. The Cultural and Artistic Association Kristal-Sladorana Županja was founded in 1950. When its numerous sections were founded. Drama, lecture, tamburitza and jazz sections, and a choir, and two years after its foundation, in September 1952, the section that we know best today – folklore, was also founded. The leader of this largest group is Ivan Zlatunić, who is also a folklore lecturer at the Croatian School of Folklore.
The goal of this concert is to preserve and pass on folk customs, songs and dances to younger generations, and to bring the community together in a spirit of togetherness, culture and joy.
We invite all lovers of tradition, folklore, and good music to join us and support the effort and love that members of our society have invested in nurturing cultural heritage for years.
The concert is part of the Kaštela Cultural Summer, organized by the City of Kaštela and co-organized by the Kaštela Tourist Board.
