This year, the Association of the Physically Disabled of Kaštela is coming to the Kaštela Cultural Summer with the play "Miljenka and Dobrilo", adapted especially for this occasion by Mirela Trebec Dević. The play is based on the novel "Miljenka and Dobrila" by Marko Kažotić, and is a love story of lovers from Kaštela, known far and wide as the Kaštela Romeo and Juliet.
Given that the drama group "Bubice" as part of the Association is celebrating 19 years of activity, creation, cultural and artistic expression this year, after a series of entertaining and humorous texts, this year they decided to perform a more serious work on the "boards that mean life", thus once again showing and proving that disability is not an obstacle to great things, but an incentive to overcome them.
Behind this work stands an already well-coordinated team: Mirela Trebec Dević as the author of the play, director Sanja Biliškov, set designer Nataša Barišić, costume designer Viktorija Dajčbauer, and of course an amateur cast.
The play will premiere on Thursday, July 17th at 21 pm at the Cultural Center in Kaštel Lukšić.
Admission is free and we invite as many of you as possible!
