
As part of the Kaštela Cultural Summer, the Ante Zaninović Cultural Association is organizing a traditional folklore festival called "Za jubav tance igraše" (For Love, Dances Were Danced), which will be held on Friday, July 11th at 21 pm on the hill in Kambelovac. In addition to the hosts, the festival will also feature groups from Costa Rica, France, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Slovenia.
This is an event that is part of the Mediterranean International Folklore Meeting held in the Split-Dalmatia County and organized by the Cultural Associations "Ante Zaninović" from Kaštel Kambelovac, "Branimir 888" from Muće, "Dalmacija" from Dugi Rat and "Pleter" from Dugopolje, gathered in the Alliance of Cultural Associations of the Split-Dalmatia County.
The foundations of the Mediterranean International Folklore Meetings were laid by the "Ante Zaninović" cultural and artistic association from Kaštel Kambelovac, which will host folklore groups at the festival this year, performing traditional songs and dances from the regions they come from.
