
On Friday, the Ministry of Demography and Immigration announced a call for funding from the "Project of Civil Society Organizations Focused on Supporting Parenthood in 2025," which provides advisory, educational and psychosocial services, in the total amount of 830 thousand euros.
The aim of the call is to contribute to a stimulating environment for families with children through the improvement of accessible and high-quality non-institutional services, and to make it easier for parents to "live their daily lives, but also to think about their children's future and their education," the Ministry said in a statement titled "Together for Parents and Children".
They add that with this call for funding to civil society organizations, the Ministry wants to ensure the availability of quality and affordable services of active support to parents in childcare in urban, suburban and rural areas. It also wants to provide support in family planning, reproductive health, the health of pregnant women and newborns, and breastfeeding, by strengthening childcare competencies.
They also want to promote equal parenting, support the balance of family and professional life of parents, provide support to parents in improving the quality of their children's education, as well as improve the mental health of parents and children by encouraging their emotional resilience, it is said.
Applications until July 21st
The lowest amount of financial resources is six thousand euros, and the highest amount of grants is thirty thousand euros.
The total amount of the call is 830 thousand euros, and the call is open from June 18 to July 21, 2025, until 12 noon.
Civil society organizations such as associations, foundations, religious communities, legal entities of the Catholic Church or social partners - trade unions, trade union associations and employers' associations, whose areas of activity include activities envisaged by this Call, may apply.
In addition to the above, local and regional self-government units and public institutions can also apply as partners, according to the Ministry of Demography.
