
Folk chefs are invited to apply to participate in the World Championship in the preparation of cuttlefish and broad bean dishes. The event will be held on Sunday, June 22 at 18 p.m. at the Rušinac Castle in Kaštel Lukšić. The organizers invite all interested chefs to apply, and the expert jury will be led by chef Nikola TomicThe organizers note that chefs can bring their dishes already prepared or cooked.
All non-professional chefs who express their love for cooking on various occasions are eligible to apply. Participants who wish to show off their cuttlefish and broad bean dishes should contact the mobile number 098 287 726, where they will receive additional information.
This championship is organized by the Zora cluster and the Rera SD Public Institution in cooperation with the City of Kaštela and the Kaštela Tourist Board.
- Kaštela is known for its traditional fishing and peasant dishes and its folk chefs. It is necessary to highlight the cuttlefish and broad bean dish, for which the protection procedure as an intangible cultural asset should be initiated - emphasizes chef Tomić.
