On Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 19:00 PM, as part of the 65th International Children's Festival Šibenik, in the New Park in Kaštel Lukšić, Zagreb's Prijatelj Theater brings its humorous and somewhat contemporary adaptation of the famous story - "The Tale of the Golden Fish".
The author and director of the play is Hrvoje Zalar, who transformed the story inspired by the verses of A. S. Pushkin into a colorful and educational comedy for children from 7 years old and up. In a short 45 minutes, viewers will follow the old man and the fish-bank agent who symbolize the traps of getting rich quick, all with a warm message: true wealth is love and friendship.
Why shouldn't you miss it?
• The play ironizes the rush of credit borrowing and false needs, but without moralizing - all with a touch of humor and simplicity.
• Short and clear, yet expressive – ideal for children and young audiences.
• Professional performance with Anja Đurinović, Romina Vitasović and Hrvoje Zalar himself in the lead roles.
Join us for a family festival evening, and admission is of course free!
