Almost 400 passengers passed through Resnik Airport in May this year, which represents a significant increase compared to the same month last year. Sveti Jeronim Airport recorded an increase in passenger traffic in May 2025, with a total of 398.518 passengers, which represents an increase of 11,5 percent compared to the same month last year, when 357.336 passengers passed through the airport.
In total, 738.880 passengers passed through the airport in the first five months of 2025. The growth trend indicates a strong recovery and increasing interest in the Split region as a tourist destination, which is visible year after year. It is expected that, given the current trend, it will exceed the figure of 3,8 million passengers by the end of the year, thus surpassing the record set last year (3,6 million).
These data confirm the importance of Sveti Jeronim Airport as a key point for tourism and the economy of Dalmatia, and indicate the need for further investments in infrastructure and capacity to support growing traffic during the peak season, as well as additional investments in winter traffic and the pre- and post-season itself when there is still some free capacity at this large Croatian airport.
