A sports Olympiad was held at the Maslačak Kindergarten in Primorsko Doc as part of the "Educational, Cultural and Sports Activities" project implemented by Municipality of Primorski DolacThe project was financed by the Ministry of Demography and Immigration. The Center for Culture and Lifelong Learning Zlatna vrata organized a sports Olympiad in which children from the Maslačak Primary School, Primorski Dolac, children from the Latica Primary School from Split and children from the Izvor Primary School from Solin participated.
The Olympiad consisted of six sports tasks based on basic biotic and motor activities adapted to all age groups. The tasks included rolling and carrying, aiming, running with tasks and other motor challenges, which encourage the development of coordination, balance, precision and team spirit.
The program was led by educators and a kinesiologist. Each child received a T-shirt and a medal in the color that indicates their kindergarten affiliation, three kindergartens – three different colors. In this way, we further fostered a sense of community and joy, and the children took home memories of their sportsmanship.
