Ante Kujundžić, Most's candidate in the first round of the Split-Dalmatia County prefect election and a member of parliament, today publicly supported independent candidate Ivana Ninčević Lesandrić ahead of the second round of the election:
"I call on the voters of Most to go to the polls on Sunday and support Ivana. The voters have spoken – we have the same goal for which we both ran, which is the fight against political bargaining, favoritism, clientelism and bid rigging. That is why we now have a choice: to support the continuation of bad politics or to build a more transparent future together. In this sense, I give my full support to Ivana Ninčević Lesandrić and I call on all voters to come out in as many numbers as possible in the second round and cast their vote for the independent candidate for the prefect of the Split-Dalmatia County, Ivana Ninčević Lesandrić."
At a joint press conference, Ivana Ninčević Lesandrić thanked for the support shown:
"We have a historic opportunity ahead of us! The entire opposition has united to allow our county to finally breathe. I thank my colleagues from Most and Ante Kujundžić for the trust they have shown. Together, after 32 years, we will introduce changes to our county and provide us all with equal opportunities and a better standard of living. Go to the polls on June 1st in as many numbers as possible - it's time for a change that we create together! Let's be a voice that can no longer be ignored!"
