ABOUT WOMEN AND FOR WOMEN
Last night, the festival of women's creativity "Mi.Žene" ended. The three-day event brought together entrepreneurs, artists, housewives and all fans of networking and mutual support in one place. Over the past three days, Vitturi Castle has been home to writers, musicians, reciters, entrepreneurs, housewives, scientists, professors, and all those who want to learn, grow, or just satisfy their personal curiosity for new experiences.
A book launch, musical performances, an exhibition, a performance by ten-year-old Maris Restović, who brought back some forgotten times with a vivid and emotional recital, panel discussions, creative workshops and, at the very end, a poetry evening are part of the collage offered to fellow citizens and guests by the festival organizer, writer Nataša Jukić.
"I am very satisfied, how could I not be? So much content was packed into just 12 hours. The response and support were not lacking. People already know that when I do something, I really try to make it a project worthy of every visitor who decides to donate their time, support and trust. I don't like when the word project is prostituted. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all participants, guests, photographers, journalists, wonderful sponsors such as the Štacija hotel, Biofarm, Viki Viktorio jewelry and the patron, the city of Kaštela," Nataša Jukić, the festival organizer, told us, adding what the future plans are for the Festival.
"A festival of this type can only grow. I believe it will be recognized and supported. The idea is a lot, people are calling, they want to participate, show what they know, network and share their knowledge. For all those who recognize in such events an opportunity for the betterment of the community and society as a whole, my hand for cooperation is extended. For those others, with ulterior motives, I believe there are other festivals. There is room for all of us, at least that's how it should be. " - said Nataša.
The third day of the festival closed with a panel discussion "Creativity in Entrepreneurship", a musical performance by Esther Canata, a piano performance by Prof. Ivana Beretin Mornar, and verses by poets Andrea Debak, Zvjezdana Čagalj, and Irena Grubišić – Čabo.
