The Kaštela City Library organized a travel lecture and presentation of the book "From Osijek to Santiago de Compostela" on Tuesday at the Archbishop's Castle in Kaštel Sućurac.
The book ''From Osijek to Santiago de Compostela'' tells the life and pilgrimage story of Ivica and Biljana, two simple people who decided to undertake a completely unusual undertaking. They walked almost 3300 kilometers from their home in Osijek to the Shrine of St. James. On this journey, going through numerous adventures, meeting new people and meeting some famous people, they tell the story of the efforts and love that are needed to complete our Path of Life.
The book is full of numerous episodes, anecdotes, beautiful photographs of nature and encounters, but also very useful advice for all those who will embark on the adventure called ''Camino''. And for those who will walk the Path with Ivica and Biljana from the comfort of their own homes, the book will offer beautiful and vivid scenes of cities, people, shrines and personal stories that are above all inspiring.
