The abandoned and dilapidated area of the Palace Hotel is often targeted by young people and people of suspicious behavior who devastate the abandoned area. The destruction of that area continued yesterday when a fire broke out inside the hotel in the afternoon.
At 4:18 p.m., the Kaštela firefighters received a report of a fire on the first floor of the abandoned building of the former Palace Hotel, in which 10 m2 of garbage and wood had burned. The fire was extinguished at 4:55 p.m. by members of the Kaštela Fire Department with 1 vehicle and 3 firefighters.
