The Association for the Promotion of Quality of Life, Cultural Values and Heritage "Šušur" and the Kaštela Tourist Board are organizing the 14th Šalsa and Salsa Festival, or the Food and Dance Festival, which will be held on Monday, September 2nd from 19 pm to 23 pm in Kaštel Štafilić at Igrišće under the auspices of the City of Kaštela, the County Tourist Board, the County of SDŽ and Cemex dd
- Along with good entertainment with Latin rhythms by the Bravo band, we will offer tourists and domestic visitors a rich and eventful program with tastings of dishes made from pomace, and other gastronomic delicacies and cocktails will also be on offer - say the organizers.
The dance part of the program at 8:30 p.m. will feature Latin and standard dancers, belly dancers, hip-hop and break dancers, salsa dancers, and dance clubs Kaštela K-7, Lambada, Babalu, K-7, Kaštela Majorettes, and the Škatula Children's Theater.
Special guests will be dancers Paula Tonković and Ivan Jarnec, winner and finalist of the Dancing with the Stars show, the acrobatic group "CROWD CONTROL" Sonja Bonačić and Jan Hajsok - finalists of Supertalent, and Karyna Zubal - semi-finalist of Supertalent, who delighted the audience with her dance in a glass.
Our program will include:
19 pm - preparation of gastronomic offer and cocktail tasting
8:30 p.m. - performance by dance groups
21.30 - Great band
Announcing the winner of the šalša making competition.
This event also has a humanitarian character because part of the proceeds are intended for our fellow citizen Darka, and for her, in addition to Kaštela associations, delicious pomace delicacies will be prepared by chefs from Mediterranean and European regions (ŠKMER Academy Split), Braća Radić High School - Kaštela, Antun Horvat High School - Đakovo.
