The Croatian Pension Insurance Institute reminds beneficiaries of child benefit that they need to submit applications by March 1st so that they can continue to receive the benefit without interruption in 2023.
The income threshold amounts to an average of 309,01 euros per month per household member, or 70 percent of the budget base, which for 2023 amounts to 441,44 euros.
The application for the right to child allowance is submitted to the regional office/office of the Croatian Pension Insurance Fund according to the applicant's place of residence, and can also be submitted at the Pension Information Centers in Zagreb (Gradišćanska 26), Split (Matoševa 3) and Osijek (JJ Strossmayera 3), as well as at post offices in the Republic of Croatia. The application can also be submitted orally for the record at the regional office/office of the Croatian Pension Insurance Fund.
