On Sunday, the 31st Kambelovski Carnival and the 20th County Masquerade, as well as the 28th Children's Carnival

Due to the procession, part of Tuđmanova cesta will be closed, as well as part of the road along the sea.

This Sunday, the Polantana Cultural Center is preparing a double carnival program in Kaštel Kambelovac: the 31st Kambelovo Carnival and the 20th County Carnival, as well as the 28th Children's Carnival.

31th Kambelovski Carnival and 20th County Masquerade

The carnival procession is starting in 15 hours od Marina Kaštela (Kaštel Gomilica) prema Brca in Kaštel Kambelovac.

All major masked groups from around the world will participate in the carnival. Split-Dalmatia County, as well as guests from the surrounding counties. The procession is additionally enriched by months of preparations by the members Cultural associations of Polantana.

As in previous years, numerous anecdotes and satirical acts from various spheres of social life will be presented, including the act with which KU Polantana participates in the Rijeka Carnival.

Note:

• Due to the maintenance of the carnival, Dr. Franjo Tuđman Road will be closed to traffic on the section from the entrance to Marina Kaštela to Dudanov put in Kaštel Kambelovac, in time from 15:00 a.m. to 16:30 p.m.

28. Children's Carnival

This Sunday, 8. FebruaryIn 13 hours, will be held 28th Children's Carnival.

The carnival procession starts from Ballet schools next to Brc in Kaštel Kambelovac. Around will participate in the procession 900 little ones from kindergartens in the city of Kaštela and the surrounding cities of Split, Trogir, Solin, Primorsko Dolac, and from elementary schools in Kaštela, the Miljenko and Dobrila Children's Home, the Škatula Children's Theater and the Srdelice children's choir. The entire procession is cheered up by the Kaštela and Solin majorettes.

After the procession, there will be a short party for children on Brca, followed by burning stumps, the culprit for all the troubles.

REMARK:

• Due to the holding of children's carnivals, King Tomislav Coast will be closed to traffic on the section from the Ballet School restaurant to Brc in Kaštel Kambelovac, in time from 13:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m.
