
The City of Kaštela has announced a public competition for the appointment of the Head of the Administrative Department for Communal Economy for an indefinite period of time with a probationary period of three months.
The Head performs the most complex tasks, proposes measures to improve work, provides expert explanations and instructions for the performance of tasks and assignments within the scope of the Administrative Department, decides on administrative matters of admission to service and on the rights and obligations of employees and on administrative matters within his/her scope of work. Plans, manages and coordinates the work of the Administrative Department. Coordinates cooperation with other administrative departments and public bodies regarding activities related to the scope of the Administrative Department. Coordinates with companies founded by the City and companies to which the City has entrusted the performance of activities related to the scope of the Administrative Department. Ensures the legality of work and actions in the work of the Administrative Department. Supervises and monitors the implementation of tasks and assignments within the department's jurisdiction and takes measures for the legal and timely performance of tasks within the jurisdiction of the Administrative Department. Executes orders of the Mayor related to the service.
Special requirements for admission to the service: completed university graduate study or university integrated undergraduate and graduate study or professional graduate study in a technical or biotechnical profession (higher professional qualification), at least five years of work experience in relevant positions, organizational skills and communication skills necessary for successful management of an administrative department, passed state exam level II, computer skills.
