From Monday, 2. February work begins in On Fra Ive Peran Street in Kaštel Stari, as part of the project of construction of a fecal collector and reconstruction of the flood channel. The planned duration of the works is two months, and traffic will be regulated during construction by temporary traffic signals, in accordance with the approved Temporary Traffic Regulation Study.
The works will be carried out in two phases.
During the execution of works in the 1st phase of the excavation of the lower part of Fra Ivana Perana Street (from the intersection with Koriolana Ćipika Street to Obala kralja Tomislava), vehicle traffic will be temporarily ensured on the one-way roadway of Obala kralja Tomislava to the intersection with Vukovarska Street and Kamberovi šetalište. Pedestrian access will be ensured by detours and temporary bridges. The construction site will be fenced off with a safety fence with access from the direction of Vukovarska Street for construction site vehicles only.
During the execution of works in the 2nd phase of the excavation of the lower part of Fra Ivana Perana Street (the full-width excavation of the Obala kralja Tomislava road), traffic on Obala kralja Tomislava will be temporarily suspended in that part of the project. Pedestrian access will be ensured by detours and temporary bridges. The construction site will be fenced off with a safety fence, with access from the direction of Vukovarska Street for construction site vehicles only.
The safety of all traffic participants will be ensured throughout the entire duration of the works, and citizens are asked to respect temporary traffic signs, exercise increased caution, and understand the temporary traffic difficulties.
