The signing ceremony of the grant agreement within the public call of the Ministry of Demography and Immigration "Program for the implementation of educational, cultural and sports activities for preschool children and children from 1st to 4th grade of primary school in local communities" was held at the National and University Library in Zagreb.
The contracts were presented to the beneficiaries by the Minister of Demography and Immigration Ivan Šipić and the State Secretary, Dr. Željka Josić, officially beginning the implementation of projects aimed at improving the quality of life of children and families throughout the Republic of Croatia.
The Mayor of the Municipality of Lećevica was presented with a contract worth 46.069,78 euros, which will co-finance the implementation of educational, cultural and sports activities for preschool children and children from 1st to 4th grade of elementary school from the area of the Lećevica municipality.
The aim of the public call is to provide accessible, safe and high-quality educational, cultural and sports content for preschool children and children from 1st to 4th grade of primary school, and activities will be implemented from the beginning of the 2025/2026 school year to the beginning of the 2026/2027 school year. Special emphasis is placed on strengthening local communities and creating equal opportunities for children, regardless of where they grow up.
