The latest edition of the show Kaštelanski šušur, which airs on TV Jadran, brings interesting facts from Kaštel, and was released on January 20, 2026.
In the show, you can see how the tourist interpretive walks in Kaštela, organized by the Kaštela Tourist Board in cooperation with the Croatian Association of Guides on the occasion of the International Recognition Day of the Republic of Croatia, went, and how the Malačka Mountaineering Association from Donje Kaštela celebrated its 29 birthday.
This year's 11th International Judo Camp of JK Dalmacijacement Cemex in the hall at Sokolana brought together hundreds of young judokas who presented their abilities and tested them with their peers from European countries. You can see how the camp went, as well as the impressions of the coaches and judokas, in the following episode.
Among other topics, the Kaštela Festival also brings the traditional handover of the city keys to the masquerades, which officially marks the beginning of the so-called fifth season in Kaštela – the time of masquerades, laughter and satire. After KU Polantana, the keys to the city were also taken over by the masquerades from Donje Kaštela KKU Poklade and KPU Kampanel from Sućurac, which will symbolically govern the city until the end of the carnival festivities.
