The Pensioners' Association of Kaštela traditionally organizes a trip to a spa during the December holidays, specifically to Banja Vrušica in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This was the case this holiday season, when they traveled for ten days to this spa known for its healing thermo-mineral waters.
Around 70 of them stayed in therapeutic spas and this trip is part of the planned work and excursion program of the Kaštela Pensioners' Association. This gives the city's older population, through pensioner associations, the opportunity, in addition to staying in spas, to participate in various excursions, socializing, various parties and dances throughout the year.
As for 2026, members of the Kaštela Pensioners' Association will travel to Dubrovnik in February to celebrate St. Blaise, and will then organize an evening of socializing and dancing on Valentine's Day. And every month throughout the year they have at least one event planned to celebrate.
As a reminder, the Kaštel Novi branch of the Pensioners' Association was founded in 1998 and currently has 239 members. It is located in the center of Kaštel Novi, at Ante Beretina Street 4, where you can find them and join in their numerous activities.
