The legendary Peco bakery in Kambelovac has permanently closed its doors on the first day of 2026, as we announced on PortalMany people received this news with sadness and regret, as can be seen from the numerous comments on social media.
They have nothing but praise for the bakery and sadly recall the many visits to the bakery, which became popular for its burek. However, the other pastries and bread were no less delicious.

The wish of many is for the bakery to reopen, but as things stand, the chances are high. The space is advertised and rented with complete equipment for the production of bakery products. If someone decides to continue what Peco has been doing so well, we wish him the best of luck, and he will certainly have the support of both the people of Kaštel and beyond.
