Consumers are hereby informed that, due to the heavy rainfall that has fallen in the last 24 hours, the turbidity of the source of the Jadro River, which supplies drinking water to the wider Split area, has increased. Due to the reserves in the water tanks and the water supply network itself, tap water is still safe to drink, without the need for prior boiling.
Employees of the Drinking Water Laboratory of the Split Waterworks and Sewerage Authority are continuously monitoring the situation and the public will be informed in a timely manner about any measures that need to be taken in the event of an increase in the water turbidity parameter in the water supply network.
